Our battery end-of-life group has just published a new paper in the Journal of Power Sources on the energy and greenhouse gas implications of using post-consumer electric vehicle batteries for grid-connected stationary energy storage.  Roger Sathre is the lead author.  Co-authors include Olga Kavvada and Thomas Hendrickson.  The paper can be accessed here.
